Add to home screen

On iPhone

    Open the link in Safari and tap the Share button (the square with the arrow)

    Scroll the list and choose "Add to Home Screen"

    Tap "Add", and the icon appears on your home screen like any other app

On Android

    Open the link in Chrome and tap the three-dot menu

    Choose "Install app" (or "Add to Home screen") and confirm

On Android the browser usually also offers to install the app directly, without these steps.
