Terms of use

The Lupix app ("the app") is run by Tal Golan ("the operator") and is offered to trip participants free of charge, as a digital aid. Using it means accepting these terms and the privacy policy. The app is also distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play, subject to each store's terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, its content or its support.

The trip itself is provided by the trip organiser and is the organiser's responsibility. These terms apply to the app only and do not affect your rights towards the trip organiser.

• The information in the app (schedule, times, places, contacts and other content) is correct as of when it was prepared, may change, and may contain errors and omissions.
• If the app conflicts with the instructions or documents of the guide or the trip organiser, the organiser's prevail.
• The app gives no professional advice, including medical, legal or insurance advice.

The app does not replace the guide's instructions, safety signs, the authorities' instructions or your own judgement, and safety is your responsibility. The emergency numbers in the app may change. In an emergency, do not rely on the app alone.

The map, the location dot and the weather forecast (which comes from an outside service) are approximations or estimates only, and must not be used as the only means of safe navigation. The content about animals, places and food is general information. The illustrations are for illustration only, and the phrasebook and pronunciation recordings are for convenience only. The app has no information about allergens.

The app is provided as is. There is no undertaking that it will work without interruption or faults. Working without signal requires the trip to be loaded in advance with internet access and free space on the phone. The operator may change the app or stop it.

The app and its content are for the personal, non-commercial use of the trip's participants. They may not be copied, distributed or sold, and the trip code may not be published. The rights in the app, its design, code, texts, illustrations and the name Lupix belong to the operator or to whoever licensed them to the operator. By sending feedback you allow the operator to use it to improve the app and the trips.

The client area is only for staff of client companies and their guides, to follow the company's trips and send notes and requests. Do not write travellers' details in notes and requests, such as names, passport or ID numbers, and do not upload passports, ID cards or passenger lists. Whoever uploads a file is responsible for its content.

A request is a proposal only. The operator may approve, reject or remove requests and notes, and does not undertake to carry out a request, or to do so by a given time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage caused by using the app or relying on it, including errors in the content, faults in the map, the location or offline use, and third-party services. Nothing here exempts from liability that cannot be excluded by law, including damage caused wilfully or by gross negligence, affects rights that cannot be waived, or reduces the trip organiser's responsibility.

These terms are governed by Israeli law, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights that cannot be waived. The operator may update these terms. The version in force is the one shown here, with the date of the last update.
